The Ice Apartments are located in a large, white building behind the Vietnam Restaurant and the Icemart souvenir store.

There is a tunnel at Laugavegur 3, by the Vietnam Restaurant, that takes you from Laugavegur street to Laugavegur 1B. There is a courtyard where Ice Apartments are located. 

You can also walk to the Ice Apartments from Hverfisgata street, across the National Theatre of Iceland.

Please walk between the Norr11 building and the Pünk/Traðarkot parking house.

Continue till the end of the road and then turn right, you will get to Ice Apartments.

If you want to bring your luggage from the car in front of the house, you need to enter from Hverfisgata. Please note that there is not a designated parking spot in front of the house.

Drive a small road, Traðarkotssund, between the Norr11 building and the Pünk/Traðarkot parking house.

Continue till the end of the road and then turn right, you will arrive at a gravel parking place in front of Ice Apartments.

Please note that this gravel parking lot is not a designated parking spot for Ice Apartments and there is no free parking available by the property (see more info in the property guide under the section “Parking instructions”).

If you use the Traðarkot parking house, you can walk from the side of the parking house (where the payment machine is) and you’ll see the Ice Apartments straight in front of you.

The entrance for apartments 101, 201 and 301 is on the 2nd floor (small flights of stairs up) on the right side.

The entrance for apartments 102, 202 and 302 is on the 2nd floor (small flights of stairs up) on the left side.

The entrance for apartment 001 is on the 1st/ground floor (small flights of stairs down) on the right side.

The entrance for apartment 002 is on the 1st/ground floor (small flights of stairs down) on the left side.

You have received your apartment number in the check-in info email.

To unlock the entrance to the building you need to enter a code on the black keypad next to the entrance door.

To wake up the keyboard on the lock press anywhere firmly on it.

When the keyboard is awake (shows numbers) put in your 4 digits code and press #. 

The lock should now open.

If you put in wrong code press * before restarting.

You’ve received the code in the check-in info email.

When it’s unlocked you need to pull the door handle to open the door.

You have received your apartment number in the check-in info email.

To open the apartment door use the code sent to you in the check-in info email.

To wake up the keyboard on the lock press anywhere firmly on it.

When the keyboard is awake (shows numbers) put in your 4 digits code and press #. 

The lock should now open.

If you put in wrong code press * before restarting.

If the lock goes into alarm. Wait for it to finish and start again.
