Car rental
We recommend using DoHop when searching for car rentals in Iceland. The rental car companies are very similar but this search engine will help you find the best deals.

Airport transfer from KEF airport to Hamraborg
If you are not planning on renting a car, we strongly recommend using the airport direct bus transfer, it is the best value for money. Airport Direct offers a direct bus transfer to and from Hamraborg and it is the only airport bus that stops in Hamraborg. From there it is 220 meters walk to the hotel. You will need to purchase the economy ticket and ask for a drop off at Hamraborg.
The FlyBus, and other airport transfers, travel to BSÍ central bus station in Reykjavík, if you plan on traveling to Reykjavík first from the airport.

Public bus from KEF airport
The public bus nr. 55 travels regularly throughout the day from the airport to the capital area. Please note that the bus does not always drive all the way to BSI bus station, downtown Reykjavik. In those cases the last stop is at Fjörður, in Hafnarfjörður, which is a town just outside Reykjavik.

Taxi
Please note that while this is the fastest way of commuting from the airport, Taxi is also the most expensive one.
The price for 1-4 people is 16.500 ISK and 21.500 ISK for 5-8 persons (this price can vary – price collected November 2022).

Public bus from Reykjavík to Icelandic Comfort Apartments
The closest bus stop to ICA is Hamraborg. A number of buses stop at Hamraborg, such as bus nr. 1, 2 and 4, as this is a large central bus stop for the town Kópavogur.
