Your Icelandic home away from home

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartments are well within walking distance to the City Centre and bus stops... The washing machine and tumble drier came in handy after a day at the thermal baths! Access to the apartment was easy and the whole building is lovely and warm. Beds comfortable and plenty of pillows/bedding. Great facility for the money.

Unique interior. The kitchen is very well prepared. Beds very comfortable. Everything at the highest level. There is a premium effect. Stylish and atmospheric lighting. We were very warm and comfortable. Close to all the city's evening attractions.

All together, it was a comfortable place to stay for holiday, staff are helpful but the balcony for city and mountain view. It was spacious and clean.

Location was perfect, the room was unreal. Was clean warm and so comfortable it actually made the holiday it was that good. If anyone was to go I will be highly recommending this place and when we return we’ll be going back there! 5* one the best hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in!

The location is just perfect. You can reach everything by foot. The apartment is nice and cosy. Everything was clean. Communication was all digital and easy. Can highly recommend it.

The location is great and very accessible to most places! Easy check in and check out. It is really clean which we liked so much! It’s comfortable, has toiletries, even has condiments, coffee, and tea in the kitchen! I love the view from our room. You can people watch while sipping coffee in the morning.It feels like a home away from home. The staff are very responsive. We will stay here again when we come back to Iceland!

The apartment was super cute, clean and well furnished, and if that kind of stuff is important to you, the curtains block the midnight sun really well! It’s walking distance to everything yet in a pretty chill area. I can’t think of a better spot!

Everything was clean & tidy, nice size, sofa bed was fab. 5 minute walk to start of main shopping area & restaurants. Pin entry to main building & the apartment. Very hot heating in the property & water. All appliances you may need. Really nice property & even though I slept closest to the main road could not hear any traffic. Would use again.

Self check in, no interaction with other guests or staff, location is perfect in the center, if you need to park overnight there is a lot of free street parking (free from 21:00 - 9:00) very close by (1-2 min walk), clean and cozy room. It's a very decent 3* hotel.

Fair price for a downtown unit. Expect no frills and lots of party noise. Close to all activities and restaurants. Although the band played loud and carried through the building it did stop before midnight.

I was a guest at Heimaleiga’s Old West Side studio apartment in Reykjavik for two weeks this past September. It is the perfect place for singles and couples who want to see the real Reykjavik. I did not talk to a tourist the first week I was there. I tried to blend in, shopped at Bonus and the local coffee shop as well as the small shop at the end of the block. It was a very untourist experience. The apartment was super clean, the internet was fast and the bathroom walk-in shower is the envy of my entire family. The staff at Heimaleiga was helpful and kind.
